The Best Derma E Hair Products For Each HairType!
Hey guys, I’m so excited to get back to blogging now that my finished website is up! At first I went totally blank when trying to figure out what my next post should be, that was until Derma E sent me their hair care line, and OMG I AM OBSESSED! Now I myself have curly hair, but I really wanted to recommend these products to people with different hair types, so I decided to gather up my sister, and my mom to help me do some testing! My mom has straight hair, my sister has wavy, and I have curly hair! Over the past few weeks we all used each product to see how it fit into our daily routine, and how well it worked for our hair! I’m also going to be recommending products for oily scalps, dry, and combination! Now without further ado let’s get onto the review!
Scalp Relief Treatment - If you suffer from an itchy scalp like me, then I 100% recommend this product! It really helps to reduce flaking and itching, plus it is filled with so many great ingredients such as, tea tree oil, aloe vera, and sea kelp! Now if your scalp tends to be oily I wouldn’t recommend this product, as its main focus is to bring hydration back to your scalp. Personally I have an oily scalp so this product wasn’t the right fit for me, however my sister who leans more towards the drier side found this product to be super helpful! For a mix of dry & oily I would say it honestly depends on which side your scalp leans more towards, if you find yourself leaning more towards the drier side then I would definitely give it a shot!
Bonding Hair Repair Oil- When it comes to the Bonding Hair Repair Oil it definitely came to the same conclusion as the Scalp Relief Treatment! Something I loved about this product was that it had premium ingredients such as Amla Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Chaga Mushroom, however again because of my oily scalp it wasn’t the best fit for me and my hair. This product worked great for my sisters dry scalp and my mom who has a combination of the two, but its important to note my mom does lean towards the drier side, so keep that in mind before purchasing this product!
Keratin Thickening Spray- Now this is a product I can get behind! Usually my curls tend to fall flat and its so hard finding ways to get volume without turning my hair into a greasy mess, but this product was a game changer! My curls looked better than ever, and I loved how the spray wasn’t to heavy on my hair! My sister had wonderful results with her waves and my mom didn’t see much of a difference with her straight hair, so I definitely recommend this to all my curly & wavy headed girls! This product also has Chanterelle Mushroom, Rosemary, and Biotin which are incredibly nourishing for your hair!
4. Thickening Shampoo & Thickening Conditioner- Now this is for all my curly hair, and oily scalp girls! The volume my curls experienced was insane and I loved every minute of it! My hair felt so nourished and rejuvenated, I couldn’t of been any happier with the results! I also love how these products are sulfate free, and I love how the oils included didn’t make my hair greasy! For those of you wondering these products have Willow Bark, Biotin, (Peppermint, Argan, Spearmint & Eucalyptus Oil),which are fantastic for hair growth, and nourishing your scalp!
Now while that’s all for Derma E’s Hair Care I wanted to sneak in two extra skin goodies they sent me as I couldn’t resist the temptation! Before we get into the final review lets talk about their Blue Light Skin Care
5. Blue Light Shield Spray- I absolutely adored this product especially after a long day at work, one spray would take all the stress from my skin away! This product has so many great ingredients such as Blue Green algae, Activated Charcoal, Ginseng Root Extract, and Lutein which work together to bring ultimate hydration and protection from blue light! I also love how it brightens, and refreshed my skin both day and night!
6. Blue Light Shield Concentrated Serum- I adore a good serum, and this one is official on my top favorites list! My skin felt refreshed, and looked so smooth as if I had taken a drink from the fountain of youth! I love how the minerals in this serum defend against environmental aggressors while still making sure I look flawless at the same time! I love how the spray includes the same amazing ingredients!
When it comes to this collection as a whole I think Derma E did a great job in creating different products for different hair types! Something I would love to see in the future would be hair care for color treated hair, a mousse, or even a gel! I also loved the two skincare goodies they included! The only other note I want to add is that I would love to see a universal hair product for all hair types! I know it’s not the easiest to create, but a girl can dream am I right? Im so happy Derma E was kind enough to send me this gift box of goodies, and I can’t wait to give you guys all the tea in my next Derma E review!
